STOLEN CAR FOUND

THIF.VES BUSY IN AUCKLAND. I,Special "Chronicle” Service.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. Motor car thieves have been busy during the holiday season. A five-seater car was stolen from outside a service station in Elliott Street last night. The owner, A. L. Hammond, was working in the station at the time, and the car lights were switched on at 9.30. The car was standing outside the door, and halt an hour later it was missing. The car was discovered this morning at, the bottom of Mt. Eden crater. It appeared as if the thieves had pushed the car over the edge. The vehicle was completely wrecked. Two other cars disappeared last night.
