BAIL REFUSED
AN AUCKLAND GANG (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 31. Bail was refused by Mr Hunt, S.M., to Roy Gordon Capel, aged .17, Albert. Gardener, .19, and William Gibson, 17, on a charge of breaking and entering Hepburn’s mercery store at Otahuhu on January 2, and stealing clothing valued at £33.
The police opposed bail as thc evidence would show that a gang had been at work.
