You will be getting quite bored by my experien.es, so I will tell you one of dad'-. In the winter time mum decided she would co for a holiday. Dad, you know, tak< terrible bilious turns. Anyhow, one night he had one of these dreadful turns, and going to th..- cupboard, proceeded to take a dose ot brandy. Well, to make a long str.rv short, mum returned a week la'.cr, and going to the cupboard, remarked to dad: “Why Dad. where's my bay rum disappeared to?” Dad, of course, had taken it in mistake for the brandy. hram.y ir.he of course mils’, have thought it was brandy. Well Wendy, I think 1 must close. Please would you ask "z\rohanui” if he would care to write to me? Hoping you and your happy hand are well. From your sincere Wcndyite, “MISS JTHI.-’u'mD,” Wyndham., 1 am so pleased you have written to mo this week, my dear. I hope the weather ret! Dear me, how dreadful to have your face hlr.cker.cd ; still it was only fun, and we must always regard these jokes in a sporting spirit. Oh. fancy being locked up in the chalf-bin. Goodness, what a joke you tell of your poor father. Just fancy drinking the bay rum in mistake for the brandy. I wonder just what were his innermost thoughts when he 1-arned of what he had done. ■ I will ask "Arohanui.” Wendy.
