CHAIRMAN COLLAPSES AND DIES [Australian Press Assn. T SYDNEY. Dec. 7. Air Alfred ShackeL a well-known member of many charitable committees, was presiding over a meeting of the combined Jewish philanthropic societies and had just announced the conclusion of the business. “This finishes out meeting,” he said, and. falling back, collapsed in his chair and died.
