The Hawcra Amateur Athletic Club s fourth sports meeting of the season was marked by an outstanding pole vault performance on Wednesday evening, when L. A. Newall added an inch to the Wanganui-Taranaki Centre recorc of nine feet established at the Ccntrt championships of last season by C Lau ent, of the Hawcra Club.
