Apathy on the part of electrical apprentices to study, for examinations, is due to “too much jazz and too many pals and parties,” according to Air GAl. Strange, a member of the Thames Valley Power Board at the meeting of the Board. The result of recent examinations were referred to by the registrar of the Electric Wireman’s Regulations Board, who reported that the percentage of candidates who passed is lower than in any former examination.
