V.C. GETS DAMAGES FROM FILM PRODUCER
ACCIDENT WITH GUNPOWDER. (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, Nov. 20. Keysor, the Victoria Cross winner, who claimed from Samuelson, the film producer, was awarded £675 damages for injuries received in the filming of a war scene. The assistant-producer gave evidence that the accident was due to the premature firing of gunpowder. An electrician deposed that he car ried out his instructions to fire the charge as the sandbag was dropped.
