DEFEAT OF THE MINISTRY [ Australian Press A :sn. ’ MELBOURNE, Nov. 20. The State Ministry discussed the position arising from its defeat, in the Assembly and decided to refer the position to the State Parliamentary It is understood that Cabinet will suggest asking for a dissolution, ami if the Governor does not agree it will be recommended that the Ministry resign. Tn the latter event it is understood that Mr McPherson is prepared to undertake the formation of a composite Government of Nationalists and Country Party.
