THE LONDON SALES Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. Ltd are in receipt of the following sheepskin market cablegram from their London agents idated October 25: Sheepskins declined 10 to 15 per cent, crossbred medium and coarse show the greatest decline, short wool declined 5 to 71 per cent. Large 'withdrawals. Messrs Dalgcty and Company report having received the following cable message from London regarding the sheepskin sales held on October 26: Offered, 5830 bales; sold 2825. As compared, with closing rates of last series. Merino combing, 10 per cent, lower; fine crossbred combing fu’ly .10 per cent, lower when sold; clothing 5 to per cent, lower; medium and coarse crossbred, practically no demand, bids on average 15 per cent, lower; lambs 7J per cent to 10 per cent lower. The fol'o-wing is the range of prices: Merino, three-quarter to full woollod 13Jd to IM; one-quarter to one-half woollod lOd to Hid; short and shorn 7id to Old; crossbred, threequarter to full wool led, fine 13Ji:l to 17id; medium, and coarse, IOAd to 14 id; one-quarter to half woollod, fine lOd, to 15d; medium anil coarse 9d to 121 d, short and shorn 8d to 124 d; lambs Hid to 164 d. Quotations largely nominal for crossbred medium and coarse.
