WANGANUI BURNS CLUB.

The Burns Club will celebrate the old festival of Halloween to-night in St. Paul 's Hall, when everything points to a record celebration. The programme is a big ono and marks the first public appearance of the Club’s Junior Choir in many Scottish numbers. There will be national dancing, piping and elocutionary items by many of the young folks. By speial request, the “Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin’ race” will be served. Chambers defines it, Burns sings it, Wilson paints it, but “the proof o’ the puddin’ is the preein ot” and let the grace be “To a Haggis” at St. Paul’s Hall to-night.
