CHILDREN’S BALL

GONVILLE SCHOOL. The Gonville School will hold their annual children's ball in two sections this year owing to the fact that there is such a large attendance of children that no hall in Gonville could accomodate them. The upper school section will hold their ball on Friday next, September 21, while the lower division will occupy the floor on Friday, October 5. The functions will take place in the Gonville Town Hall and the array of fancy drosses worn by the children should make an attractive picture. Dancing for the children will commence at 7.30 p.m. and continue till 10 p.m., after which adults will hold the floor. The dance music, will be supplied by the Queen Alexandra’s Own Band under the baton of Captain Buckley. Several prizes have been donated for the best fancy dresses in the different sections, and the supper will be provided by a committee of ladies.
