MOTOR SKIDS IN GRAVEL

OWNER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. (Per Press Association.) NELSON. Sept. 18. A motor-car owned by Holier Pike, of Nelson, and driven by B. M. Richmond, of Christchurch, skidded in loose gravel on the Blenheim-Nelson Road, at Kaituna, and rolled down a 10-foot bank. Pike sustained a broken arm and cuts on the face ami head, and is in Wairau Hospital. Richmond escape'] unhurt.
