AUSTRALIAN AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE NETTLEFORD THE WINNER [Australian Frees Assn.] Received Sept. 16. 5 5 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 16. The Australian amateur golf championship was won by Nettleford,, who defeated Keane four up and two to play. The championship was decided in fine weather at Rose Bay links. Nettleford was two .down at the twenty-seventh but made a wonderful recovery, winni-ig by four up and two to play at the thirty-fourth despite a plucky effort by Keane, who, however, was no match for his more experienced opponent. POVERTY BAY TITLE BULL BEATS DODGSHUN (Per Press Association.) GISBORNE, Sept. 16. The Poverty Bay Golf championship was playcrl in good weather on Satundjay, resulting in a win for Noel H.
