DETAILS OF THE SCHEME [ Australian Preu Assn. 1 SYDNEY, Sept. 15. The Federal Treasurer, in out lining the National Insurance Bill, estimates that when the scheme comes into force in July, 1929, the number of employed contributors to it will be 1.600,000, of whom 36.3.000 will bp females. ’ All persons earning over £416 annually will bp excluded from the scheme. The classes of cont rfbutors, compulsory and voluntary, and administration will follow the lines of the British scheme. Employers’ an.l employees’ contributions will amount to a shilling a week in the case of males and 6d for females.
