MADAMT MENERE’S HINTS ON FURS. Sprinkling furs with pepper and then wrapping them up in paper will not keep the moth away, declares Madame Menere. The only way to keep the moth out is to every few days give the furs a good shaking and beating with a cane. No moth constantly disturbed in a fur is going to lay eggs there.
