TO-MORROW NIGHT’S BAND RECITAL

The Queen Alexandra Band will give a recital in the Majestic Theatre commencing at 8.15 p.m- to-morrow night. The band will be assisted by Miss Vivienne Ralph (contralto) and Mr W. H. Christie (baritone). Both of these vocalists have achieved success and won the affection of audiences both in and out of Wanganui. Master Jack Buckley will play a cornet solo “O for the Wings of a Dove” (Mendelssohn). Wagner’s great work “The Master-Singers,” which was last year’s tost for the English bands, will be played for the first time. Mr cfBergersen and Mr J.
