HIGH JINKS
Bv Arrangement with J. C. Williamson. 'When the Wanganui Amateur Musical and Dramatic Society were investigating all the stage successes, the musical comedy “High Jinks” commended itself as one of the best that was going so an arrangement was made with J. C. Williamson Ltd. for the production locally. The play was put in hand some time ago, and with Mr Harison Cook, rhe -well-known producer, rehearsals have been steadily carried on, until the performers are now practically “letter perfect” in the various parts allotted to them. The first performance will be given at the Opera House on Tuesday night next and those who love a bright, sparkling musical farce should make a point of securing the best scats available when the box office opens this morning. “High Jinks” will please everybody and with a strong caste and very fine chorus, the attraction should be one of the best for years. The musical section of the play is under the control of Mr Gordon Mcßeth, while the elaborate scenery has been painted by Mr Bob Howell.
