MISS ISABEL McCOBKINDALE’S VISIT

Miss Isabel McCorkindale, Director of Education, Australian W.C.T.U. is making a return visit to Wanganui this week. On Friday afternoon she will be the guest of the Women’s Division Farmers’ Union at a reception. Friday and Saturday evenings, Miss McCorMndalc will conduct teachers’ training classes in Trinity Church Parlour and on Sunday afternoon will be the principle speaker at a monster citizenship rally to be held in the Opera House. Miss McCorkindale is one of the finest women speakers ever heard in Wanganui. Her experience with youth and 1 women’s organisations throughout the world enables her to speak with authority on the educational side of various social problems. Throughout Great Britain an,d Canada Miss McCorkindale has had close contact with the farm women’s organisations. As this will be tho last opportunity of hearing Miss McCorkindale, there is no doubt that she will bo greeted with packed houses.
