MUCH APPRECIATED

WRESTLING EXHIBITION AIDS SUCCESS OF SHOW Appreciation of the wrestling exhibition provided at the Wanganui Show last year was expressed by the members of the Wanganui Agricultural Association meeting yesterday. Mr D. Ross presided and there were also present Messrs. J. Patterson, J. Hodges, W. G. Cooper, W. R. B. Nicholson, R. W. Green, and J. R. Franklin. It was decided to leave the arrangements for another wrestling exhibition at the coming show in the hands of Mr. Nicholson, who was requested to furnish a report at a later date. The secretary, Mr F. G. Seddon, stated that an address on intermediate credits, which was of interest to farmers, would be given by Mr Snell, under the auspices of the Farmers’ Union, at Wanganui on Wednesday. July 11. The chairman stated that he would donate a bullock to the weight-guessing competition at the next show. The offer was received with thanks.
