NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui Rabbit Board at its meeting to be held on Friday, the 13th day of July, 1928. at 2 p-m. in pursuance and exercise of tho powers vested in it by Section 59 of the Babbit Nuisance Act, 1908, and Section 51 of The Rating Act, 1925, to make and levy a rate of One farthing per head on all sheep, and One penny farthing per head on all cattle as shown in the Stock-owners’ List, signed by the Magistrate on November 26, 1927, such rate to be for the period commencing on January 1, 1928, and ending on December 31, 1928, and to be payable in one instalment on Saturday, the 14th day of July, 1928, to the Collector at the office of tho Board, No. 7, Campbell Place, Wanganui. The minimum total amount of rates payable by any one stock-owner will be fixed at Ten shillings irrespective of the number of sheep and (or) cattle owned.
