WOMAN’S SUICIDE

\ THROAT CUT ? i. HUSBAND’S TERRIBLE DISCOVERY The sight of Ills wife lying in the bathroom with her throat cut greeted William Webster, of 53 Pitt Street, when he rose from bed early yesterday morning. Medical aid was sought immediately, but when Dr. Williams arrived the woman was dead. The deceased, Ada Marlon Webster, 33 years of age, left her bed at a quarter to six. Telling her husband that she was suffering from pains in the stomach, she went into the bathroom. Following her shortly afterwards, Webster heard a gurgling noise, and on entering the bathroom saw her lying on the floor with an ugly gash in her throat. Deceased for some time past had not been in a normal state of health. An inquest was held yesterday afternoon before the district Coroner, Mr J. J. Pilkington. The verdict was suicide, while suffering from acute nervous disorder.
