An Auckland message statgs that John Moore, who was knocked down by a motor-car on June 4, died at th« hospital on Friday night.
Philip Owen Kerr, of Takaka, died yesterday from injuries received in a fall from a motor cycle through the too sudden application of the brakes.
The Auckland aviator, Mr Douglas Mill, arrived at Wigram aerodrome (Christchurch) on Saturday at 4.20 o’clock, having flown from Hawera, via Blenheim, where he stopped to refuel.
At the inquest at Wairoa on Saturday concerning the death of John Thomas St. Peir, who was killed lost Wednesday at Tuai hydro-elgctric works, a verdict of accidental death was returned.
It is reported from Wellington, in connection with the opening of the Parliamentary session, that the Ad-dress-in-Reply debate would bq initiated by Air F. Waite (Clutha), and Mr A. Bell (Bay of Islands) would be the seconder.
A statement recently appeared in the Press that a British firm had suggested to a Dunedin business man an ingenious method by which the Custome authorities could be defrauded by understating the value of goods imported on the cash on delivery system. Investigating the matter, Mr Lambie, British Deputy Trade Commissioner, has ascertained that the document in question was unsigned and was printed :us a circular from an Indian firm, and that the occurrence does not, therefore, reflect adversely upon the high standard of commercial morality maintained by British manufacturers and export era.
