FILM FAVOURITES’ EARLY EARNING Thirteen years ago, Adolphe Alenjou was playing in Olga Petrova’s starring picture. “The White Feather,” at the Old World Film Studios in. Nexv York. He received £l5 every seven days during the run of the production. One of the £6 a week players in the picture was Evelyn Brent, at that time just a youngster with an ambition. To-day, they have just finished a new picture together, but. their status and salaries differ considerably from those of 19.15,
Alenjou is the star of “His Tiger Lady” and Miss Brent is his leading lady. Both are under contract to Paramount and the popularity of each as individual artists is growing with every picture. Miss Brent is a featured player and during the past several weeks has appeared in such productions as
“Beau Sabreur.” “The Last Command” and “The Showdown.”
