So I hope will enjoy it and do your best. lam not going to worry you with a lot of instructions. You all know •y now what I want from you in the way of paintings; and you know what [ don t want! Please remember, and let me see nothing but pretty pictures. You did splendidly last time, but 1 want you to do better still now. One or two rules we must have, for some of you go sadly astray occasionally, and lose your chances of winning prizes simply through not taking notice if what I say. 1- Your paintings must be in by next Saturday, June 16, addressed to Wendy, e/o “Chronicle” Office. Box 105, Wanganui. 2. Your name, address and age must be VERY .CAREFULLY written on your entry. Please remember I MUST know your correct ago. 3. THE WORK .MUST BE YOUR OWN. AND QUITE UNAIDED. No one is permitted to help you. and the signature of a grown-up, relative or a teacher is required as a guarantee that this rule has been observed. That is all. my dears.
