Airs. A. H. Miles, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs < harles Aliles, of St. Hill Street. Mrs R. Orton, of St. Hill Street, went to Auckland last week to be present at the Ellerslie races. Miss McCall, who has been the guest of Mrs Izard, College Street, has returned to Nga Taw a School. Last Tuesday the Countess of Kiutvre and her daughter. Lady Hilda Keith-Falconer, arrive*! in Wellington by the Marama from Sydney. Mrs S. Shaw ami Miss Oliva Shaw, who have been staying in Wellington, passed through Wanganui on Thursday on their way to New Plymouth. Miss Young, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs H. Lewis, of Fordell. Lady Nolan, accompanied by Miss Nolan, returned to Auckland last week after a visit to her daughter, Mrs Chalmers, Palmerston North. Ajnongst the guests who have been staying at Foster’s Hotel are Air and Airs Justice Reed (Wellington), Dr and Mrs Luke and Mr and Airs E. Luke (Wellington) and Air and Airs Jardine.
Mr and Airs David Jackson, of Waverley. are spending a holiday in Auckland ami are staying at the Grand Hotel. Aliss A. Gibbons, of East Town.' was hostess at a delightful bridge party' last We< 1 nesday aft er noon. Miss B. Inglis, who has been the guest of Airs Heathcote D'Arcy, has returned to her home at Napier. Airs C. Hutton. St. John’s Hill, is staying in Blenheim as the guest of her sister. Airs Crocker. Airs Sea nn ell, St. Hill Street, who has been staying in Christ church as the guest of her mother, Airs Maxwell, has returned to Wanganui. Aliss Shirtcliffe, who has ’neon the guest of Airs Robertson, has returned to Wellington. Last Thursday evening Airs Bain was hostess at a bridge party. Air and Airs Barraud, of Wanganui, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Aliss P- Hatherly. who has been staying in Wellington, has returned to her home in Wanganui. Last Thursday Airs Burgess and Aliss Burgess, of St. John's Hill, motored to Wellington to say farewell to Air Burgess who is leaving for a trip to England. Airs Simpson, of Marton. is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs N. Fulton. St. John’s Hill, who has been spending a holiday in New Plymouth, has returned to Wanganui.
