BILLS INTRODUCED DE VALERA’S OPPOSITION [ Australian Press Assn, j LONDON, June. 8. Five Bills to amend the Free State constitution were introduced in the Dail Eireann and read a first time despite strong opposition from Mr De Valera’s Party. Four deal with the constitution and method of election to the Senate. The fifth proposes to abolish articles 47 and 48 dealing with the initiative and referendum.
