INJURY TO HOBBS BEST IS ESSENTIAL. CHANCES FOR TEST TEAM. [ Australian Press Assn. 1 LONDON, June 7. Hobbs strained a thigh muscle, and has been compelled to retire from the Players’ side at the Oval. His injury is not serious, but rest is essential. He hopes soon to be playing again. The selection committee for Ihc test trial teams is coupling Hobbs and Rhodes.
