A Sydney cablegram announces tho death of Mr J. Grant, deputy-leader of the Labour Party in the Senate, aged 71.

She leaves a son, Hare Pcrenciki, a prominent Rangitira. and a- daughter, Haora Tarangangui. Deceased was aged 72.
