MONSTER CHAIN FOH ST. PAUL’S A chain being made in Sheffield is to be used to prevent St. Paul’s Cathedral dome from sagging. It is 145 ft, long, weighs 30 tons, and each link is just over 15ft. lons. The width of the chain is 13Um. It is to be embedded in concrete in the ('■onie. The chain is of stainless steel, and is the biggest ever made of that metal.
