THE WEATHER. The weather forecast issued at Wellington last evening predicted southwesterly‘winds still strong at times in Fouveaux Strait, but elsewhere light to fresh. Seas rather rough from Cook Strait southwards, hut decreasing to moderate north of Cook Strait. The weather will be cloudy at times in districts with westerly aspects and -outhern Otago, with scattered light | showers but mainly fair to fine with cool temperatures.
