Reonui 8.3 and Edgards 6.12 (dead heat) 2. Twelve started. Valpariso made the early running and at the mile was two lengths in front of Piastoon with Reonui next. At the distance reonui and Vaals headed Valparasio and Vaals won by two lengths. Time 3.181—a course record.
