The Hon. James Craigie, M.L.C., of Timaru, arrives in this city to-morrow. He will lecture at a function arranged by the Wanganui Burns Club.

To-day Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., is to leave Wanganui for Auckland. In the northern city he' will officiate as chairman of the transport commission which opeus its inquiry on Thursday. The other commission members are Mr Alfred Edward, of Sydney and Mr W. G. T. Goodman, of Adelaide.
