I When he went io the hospital the j first move was to place him beneath Jhe X ray. The trouble was immediately located. A brass paper-fastener was i foun-1 embedded in the man’s lung, and ian abcess had formed. A tube with a tiny electric bulb at | the end was run down the throat. Down I the tube went a pair of tweezers, and | out camp the obstruction. 'I hen there was the recent ease of an insane woman who swallowed a teaspoon. She told no one. and it was not until she became violently ill that the cause was ascertained. The handle of the spoon had penetrated the wall of the stomach, peritonitis set in, and the woman was in a low state. I The operation was successful.
