HOSPITAL ESTIMATES WELLINGTON BOARD'S ADMINISTRATION | [ Per Press Association f WELLINGTON, April 18. Tho estimates of the Wcllingtott Hospital Board for thc year ended Alarch 31, 1929, were adopted at a special meeting of thc Board to-day. The levy on the contributing local authorities amounts to £74,795 3s Bd, and the rate will be 3.81«1 in the £1 on the rateable capital value, which totals £47,117,062. The Government subsidy amounts to i. 85,654, 16s 4d. La<t year’s rate value was £43.892,742, and the levy amounted to £68,326. Thia year £24,020 has been allocated for social welfare ork, last year’s estimate of £IS,OOO having been exceeded by £B4lO.
