EARTH SHOCKS
BELGIAN DISTURBANCES HILLS DISAPPEAR. (A. & N.Z.) SOFIA, April 18. The whole region between Khaskova, Maritza Valley, and Guircevo, on the Danube, is still subject to the most acute tremors. Fifteen shocks yesterday destroyed most of the remaining buildings, notably in the Tschirpan area, where thirteen villages were wiped out. Two thousand houses collapsed at Tschirpan and a thousand at Borisvogra.d. Only twelve were killed and injured. Many hills disappeared and others were raised up.
ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE
WIDE-SPREAD PANIC Received April 19. 11.10 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) SOFIA, April JB. A fresh earthquake at 9.30 p.m. caused widespread panic among the inhabitants, who rushed into the streets.
