MR CHARLES SIMS ROYAL ACADEMICIAN. Received April 17, 8.10 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, April 16. The death is announced of Mr Charles Sims, keeper and trustee of the Royal Academy since 1920, and trustee of the National Gallery of British Art in 1920. The late Mr Sims began to study art at South Kensington (National Art Training School) in 1890 and attended the Academic Julian, under J. Le Febvre and Benjamin Constant in 1891, Royal Academy Schools in 1893 and exhibited at the Royal Academy in J 894 and successive years.
