LONDON WOOL SALES
AGENTS’ REPORTS. Messers Dalgety and Company, Ltd. report having received the following telegram from their London House dated March 9:—Wool sales closed active with brisk competition. As compared with closing rates of last scries: Merino, greasy par to Id higher; scoured, par to Id higher; crossbred, greasy, Id to lid higher; fine, greasy Id to lid higher; medium and coarse greasy lid to 2id higher; scoured 2d to 3d higher; slipe 3d to 3d higher; lambs crossbred greasy 2d to 2id higher.
Messers Levin, and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated March 29:—The auctions closed here to-day firm, with prices on a par with opening rates, with the exception of slipes and scoured crossbreds, which arc 25 per cent higher. Home, Continental and American buyers operating.
