WARNING ISSUED DENIAL OF SACRAMENTS (The Times) LONDON March 31. The Paris, correspondent of the Times says that an order signed by French. Cardinals , archbishops and bishops, and bearing the Pope’s approbation, instructs the clergy to emphasise kindly but firmly the grave canonical proscriptions existing. Unless they retract from the crr.or of their ways and have no further deal-, ings with the party, not even reading its newspaper, they will be denied burial iu consecrated ground, also the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and communion. The order warns Action Francaise members intending to marry that they will bo similarly denied a religious wedding ceremony. The correspondent says: “The order calls the ecclesiastical pronouncements olf the Middle Ages.”
