AGENTS’ REPORTS Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following wool market cablegram from their London agents, dated March 29: Sales have closed with a good tone. Compared with last London sales’ closing rates: Greasy Merino, competition fair; best descriptions, closing rates last series barely maintained; good descriptions, market shows no material change; inferior descriptions, and locks, advanced 5 per cent. Scoured Merino, best, market firm. Scoured Merino, clothing wools, advanced 5 to 10 per cent. Crossbred greasy comeback, fine and medium, advanced 5 to 74 per cent.; best descriptions show greatest advance. Crossbred, greasy coarse, greasy lambs, and scoured crossbred, advanced 10 per cent. Slipe crossbred advanced 74 per cent. Sheepskins, Merino, par to 5 per cent, advance. Sheepskins, crossbred, 10 per cent, advance.
