LABELS WANTED

SALE OF APPLES IN ENGLAND. (A.P.A.-Sun) LONDON, March 23. The Merchandise Marks Standing Committee, as the result of its inquiry, recommends an Order-in-Council prohibiting the importation and sale wholesale of fresh apples unless each container indicates a notification of their origin. It also considers that there should be prohibition of the exposure of apples (retail) unless the origin is indicated by means of a showcard displayed in close proximity.
