WANGANUI WEST CLUB WEEK-END TOURNEY. The following are the scores of the week-end tourney, held at the Wanganui West Bowling Club:— Anthony, Malt, Anderson, Moir 21, v. Mailman, Gowan, Laird, A. O’Keefe, Marsden 20, v. McNiven, Tilley 27. WANGANUI EAST CLUB VISIT TO MARTON On Saturday the Wanganui East Club iuade their annual visit to Alarton. As Saturday is not the half holiday for Marton it was arranged that two rinks from Bulls should attend to make up a eonipletnient of seven rinks, hut owing to tiie state of the weather the Bulls rinks did not put in an appearance. However, Afarton provided jour official rinks, but play was delayed a little owing to rain just after the start.
The visitors were welcomed by Air F. [W. Purnell (president of the Alarton/ i Club) who lemarkud that it was sini gular that each time the two clubs met the weather conditions were against them.
At the conclusion of the play Air A. W. Jones (president of the Wanganui East Club) thanked the Alarton bowrers for their hospitality and cheers were exchanged, which brought % very enjoyable afternoon to a close.
