ATTEMPT AT RESCUE YOUNG MAN DROWNED. L Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Alarch 25. While bathing at Titahi Bay thif afternoon, a young man, Air J. Pope, was drowned while attempting unsuccessfully to rescue a young lady whose body has not been recovered. The lady’s name is not yet known.
