In connection with the week-end excursion train which leaves New Plymouth for Wellington at 9 p.m. on 23rd inst., the Railway Department has obtained cooperation of the. Mayor of Wellington (Air G. A. Troup) in making a success of the visit of Wanganui and Taranaki citizens to Wellington. The visitors will arrive in Wellington on Saturday morning and leave on the, return trip, Sunday afternoon for the home towns. This interchange of visits will be the forerunner of others if the excursion proves a success. Air Troup extends a welcome to visitors arriving by the excursion train, and in extending civic privileges gives an assurance that the. citizens of Wellington will do all in their power to make the visit an enjoyable one.
