The Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation Society rcpo.t: —The last sale of the season was held in Wanganui yesterday morning, when a total offering of 3,800 bales was submitted to a full bench of buyers. The offering as usual was mostly made up of oddments, the bulk of the main clips having been sold at previous sales. The recent rise was fully maintained, and we report a good solid sale throughout. Our catalogue comprised 835 bales, and a total clearance was effected under the hammer. Our best price twentyfive pence, was obtained for 26 bales of grouped Southdown, other good prices being .11. bales 233 d, 12 bales at 20ld, ami 14 bales of crutchings at 133 d.
