N.Z. FARMERES’ CO-OP. DIST. CO., LTD.
The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd. report as follows: A small offering of approximately -1000 bales was submitted at Wanganui to an average attendance o£. buyers. Our offering comprised 361 bales, there being sonic good wools among the various lots. For the better class wools competition was of the keenest, although, taken as a whole, bidding was not bright and animated. Prices ruled very distinctly as compared with last month in sellers’ favour, the advance being roughly about Id per lb. Competition came chiefly from Bradford and Continental operators, very little of the offering being suitable for U.S.A. French competition for lambs’ wool and pieces was well sustained and these lots shared in the general adI vanco.
