THEFTS ALLEGED
GOODS AND MONEY ACCUSED COMMITTED TOR TRIAL [ Per Press Association, j MASTERTON. March 19. Jack Cooper, alias John Mylchreest Quale, on a charge of entering the house of Donald Trass in September, 1926, and stealing therefrom a number of articles ami £l7 10s in notes, of a total value of £2l 19s. was committed by Mr Free. S.M.. to-day in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court, to the Wellington Supreme Court for *riaL Bail was allowed. Accused admitted the theft of the articles, but denied breaking and e-i--tering and stealing, alleging that the door of the house was open. On a second charge of the theft of an overcoat valued at £2 10s, accuse 1 pleaded guilty, ami was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
