AUSTRALIAN VISITORS
GAMES FOR. WANGANUI CENTRE ’8 ARRANGEMENTS The secretary of the Wanganui Bowling Centre has been advised that a party of bowlers from South Australia arrive in Wanganui at 12.35 p.m. from New Plymouth on March 9. The party consists of 34, of whom eleven arc ladies. It has been arranged to play four full rink games on the Friday afternoon against country members of the Wanganui Centre and four rinks on Saturday afternoon against the town clubs. A friendly game is also to be arranged for the seven extra members of the pa rty. A social evening is to bo given to the visitors on the Saturday night at the Wanganui pavilion, and a motor trip is to be arranged for tho Sunday afternoon. . Clubs are now being advised. The
visitors leave Wanganui by the first train on Monday, March 12, for Napier. The champion pairs and champion singles contests are to be played on Thursday next. Gordon Pairs
The date fixed for the Gordon Pairs iompctition is Thursday, March 15.
