Cabled advice has been, received by the New i Zealand Shipping Company that the Rimuta-1 I ka arrived at Panama on Monday from ■ Auckland, bound for London. The vessel .ailed from Auckland on February 3. TAIROA LEAVES COLON. ! A cable message to the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company reports that the Tairoa left i Colon on Sunday for ondon, en route from Napier. The vessel sailed from Napier on ■ February 3. SUSSEX AT BATAVIA. The Union Company has received news that he Sussex, from Newcastle, arrived at Batavia on February 26. She will proceed thence to Sourabaya, leaving there on March ■» for Calcutta. The Sussex is fixed to load ; t Calcutta during March and early in April, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland .-.bunt March 31, and at Wellington ten days . later. WEST NIVARIA FOR AUCKLAND. Although not reported by wireless the American steamer West Nivaria is scheduled to I arrive at Auckland from San Pedro to-day. | The vessel is bringing lumber, case oil and ’ general cargo for discharge at Auckland, , Wellington and Lyttelton. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Royal Mail liner Niagara picked up three men from the Auckland fishing launch Ika on Wednesday evening, ten miles northeast of Maro, Tiri Island. The launch afterwards was abandoned and was left drifting I at the rate of one mile an hour before a strong south-west wind. The collector of customs advises mariners that she is a men- • ace to navigation. ARAWA’S SAILING DATE. L. D.
