A Hertford (Connecticut) news paper states that it has authoritative!; learned that Colonel Lindbergh will ac company Commander Byrd on his fligl to the South Pole. projected expedition, according to an announcement by Commander Byrd, who says six Greenlanders, including two women, have agreed to start an Eskimo colony there. The remainder of the expedition will consist of whites. Commander Byrd has received thousands of applications from adventurous spirits to accompany him, scores of these being from Australia and New Zealand. The expedition has already been financed, and numbers of large subscriptions are included.
