“WILL THE MINISTER?”
QUESTIONS IN HOUSE REPLIES TO MANY QUERIES (Par Press Awocl&tion.) WELLINGTON. Nov. 7. Ministers replied to several questions in the House of Representatives this evening.. Replying to Mr W. S. Glenn (R&ngitikei) the Minister for Defence said be hail no particulars of the accident on the Foxton Beach by which a. small boy was badly mutilated by the explosion of a shell but he would make inquiries. Replying to Mr T. W. Rhodes Thames) the Prime Minister said the question of amending the Standt!*af Orders of the House with a vfew to expediting business was now under the consideration of the Government and he would make a statement in that connection at an early date. Replying to Mr T. D. Burnett (Temnka) the Minister for Public Works said it was intended to CKempt from the petrol tax all petrol used for agricultural purposes. In replying to Mr H. T- Armstrong, the Prime Minister said that if the Opticians Bill could not he gone on with this session it would be proceeded with early next session.
